Orientation Workshop on Sindhi WordNet System Inaugurated at the Institute

Hyderabad (9th July 2024) An orientation workshop and training session was launched today at the Abdul Majid Bhurgri Institute of Language Engineering, Hyderabad. This event was organized for the students of the Sindhi and IT departments of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazir Abad.
The workshop was led by Mr. Amar Fayaz Buriro, Director of the Institute. In his training session, Mr. Buriro highlighted the significance of the WordNet Project for the Sindhi language, focusing on the methodologies of data sorting and inputting. He explained how these processes will be utilized in various Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects, aiming to harness AI for the advancement of the Sindhi language.
The students demonstrated keen interest and enthusiasm throughout the session. They expressed their happiness at being provided with such a valuable platform, where they can contribute and develop innovative projects in language engineering.
Mr. Amar Fayaz Buriro extended his heartfelt gratitude to the administration of the Sindhi and IT Departments of the University for recognizing the importance of this forward-thinking project and sending their students to participate in this academic endeavor.
