Chief Minister Sindh Conducts Surprise Visits to Risala Police Station and Keamari DC Office

Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah conducted surprise inspections of Risala Police Station and the Keamari Deputy Commissioner’s Office to review administrative operations and expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of key officials.

Visit to Risala Police Station

During his visit to Risala Police Station, the Chief Minister inspected various sections, including the Ladies’ Desk, Facilitation Desk, and the lockup.

• Delay in Women Police Station Construction: The CM expressed frustration over delays in the construction of the Women Police Station and directed the Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjhar to submit a report.
• Staffing Issues at Ladies’ Desk: He ordered the deployment of experienced female police officers at the Ladies’ Desk for better assistance.
• Shortage of Personnel: The CM showed anger over the inadequate number of personnel at the police station, emphasizing the need for sufficient staff to manage day and night shifts.

Inspection of Keamari DC Office

At the Keamari Deputy Commissioner’s Office, the CM reviewed administrative operations and expressed his displeasure over the absence of key officials.

• Suspension Orders: On the CM’s instructions, the Chief Secretary suspended Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Keamari Nawaz Khowro, Assistant Commissioner Mauripur Muhammad Yaseen, and Mukhtiarkar Mir Muhammad Talpur for their absence.
• Transfer of Sub-Registrar: Sub-Registrar Gadap-II Abdul Nabi Lashari was immediately transferred.
• Review of Domicile Office: The CM visited the domicile office, listened to citizens’ grievances, and directed prompt resolutions.

Chief Minister’s Directives

The Chief Minister instructed all officials to remain present in their offices during working hours and prioritize resolving public issues. He emphasized improving the efficiency of police stations and administrative offices.
The CM also directed SSP City and Commissioner Karachi to take necessary steps to ensure the performance of their staff.
