Milad-e-Mustafa ﷺ Celebration & Oath-Taking Ceremony of SENWA; Sindh CM attends as Special Guest

KARACHI (October 24): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah attended the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected office-bearers of the Sindh Secretariat Employees (Non-Gazetted) Welfare Association (SENWA) at the New Secretariat, Karachi.

Upon his arrival at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister was warmly received by Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah, Secretary General Administration Muhammad Ali Khoso, Secretary Ghulam Nabi Barhmani and other SENWA officials.

The event began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Waheed Qadri, followed by a spiritually uplifting Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gathering held in honor of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).

The ceremony was attended by MNA Nabeel Gabol, Minister for Auqaf Riaz Shah Shirazi, Sindh Government Spokesperson Sunita Afzal, renowned religious scholar Allama Hafiz Ghulam Muhammad Soho, famous naat khawan (reciter of praises for the Prophet), and other distinguished guests.

The newly elected SENWA office-bearers included President Mashooq Mangrio, General Secretary Gul Hameed Baloch, Senior Vice President Faisal Memon, Vice President Bilawal Junejo, and Finance Secretary Makhdoom Wali Muhammad, among others.

During the ceremony, SENWA President Mashooq Mangrio presented a traditional Ajrak to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, while Finance Secretary Makhdoom Wali Muhammad offered him a Sindhi cap. Vice President Bilawal Junejo presented an Ajrak to Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah, and General Secretary Gul Hameed Baloch gifted him a Sindhi cap.

In his address, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah congratulated SENWA for organizing the spiritual Milad gathering in honor of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all SINEWA members for arranging this spiritually enriching event in praise of our beloved Prophet ﷺ. May Allah’s blessings continue to shower upon all of us and our beloved land, Sindh,” he said.

He added that the government holds its employees in high esteem and deeply appreciates their dedication and service.

“You all are very important to us, and I sincerely thank each one of you,” the Chief Minister concluded.
