Human Rights–Based Short Film “RINKLE” to Release Soon
Mumbai (News Desk) A short film titled RINKLE, highlighting an important human rights issue, will soon be presented to audiences. The film has been submitted as an official entry for the NHRC India Short Film Competition 2025. The research, dialogue, script, and production of the film have been carried out by Mahesh M. Vasu, while it is directed by Sanjeeb Das. The story revolves around a sensitive incident that took place on February 24, 2012, in Mirpur Mathelo, Sindh, Pakistan, which raised several serious questions regarding human rights. The cast of the film includes Simran Kaur, Rajan Tiwari, Sanjay Tiwari, Manil Mehta, Raj Sharma, Hatinder Tandon, Akshay Vartak, and Raju Bist, along with several other artists. The Director of Photography for the film is Harshvardhan Sharma, while the camera work has been handled by Sourabh Moghe and Ashish Kumar The film’s visual promotions have been produced by ARTVERSE STUDIOS. The film is also dedicated to the memory of the late Raj Kumar Wanzara, and special thanks have been extended to senior journalist and former News Editor of Awami Awaz, Asad Chandio. The short film “RINKLE” is expected to release soon and is anticipated to deliver a strong message on important aspects of human rights.
