Sindh gets a new Chief Secretary

The Federal Government has appointed Mr. Asif Hyder Shah, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, as Chief Secretary Sindh. Mr. Shah was posted as Federal Secretary Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination.
Asif Hyder Shah Joined the Civil Service of Pakistan in 1993 and served on various important assignments in the past which include Commissioner Hyderabad, Commissioner Karachi, Special Secretary Cabinet Division, Federal Secretary Ministry of Culture and Federal Secretary Power Division.
A Civil Engineer by profession, Shah holds a MBA degree from IBA Karachi, a Master’s degree from Harvard University USA and a Fellowship each from Harvard and Stanford Universities.
He possesses exceptional administrative skills and maintains a proactive approach towards public service delivery. His past performance as Commissioner Hyderabad and Karachi was widely acclaimed by the various segments of society.
