Buddhist Foot Peace March Reaches North Carolina, Welcomed by JSQM America Leader Habib Bhutto with Ajrak Gifts

Virginia (Report: Zia Qureshi): A Buddhist foot peace march in the United States has reached North Carolina, where it was received by (JSQM) America leader Habib Bhutto, who presented Ajrak gifts.

The Buddhist foot peace march, which started from the U.S. state of Texas in October 2020, has been continuing for 90 days. When the march reached the state of North Carolina, JSQM America leader Habib Bhutto welcomed the participants of the march, presented them with Ajrak—an important symbol of Sindh’s great culture—and also joined the march.

The march will conclude in Washington, D.C. in February 2026. Speaking on the occasion, JSQM leader Habib Bhutto said that Buddhists are peace-loving people. He said that after walking for 90 days to reach North Carolina, he considered it his duty to participate in the march and welcome them with Sindh’s traditional Ajrak.

Meanwhile, thousands of people welcomed the thousands of peoples.
